Men Majlis

The project was a bit challenging as the basic construction was already finished. They wanted us to design furniture and wall cladding that wasn’t too complicated, but still stylish and modern. We could also mix in some traditional elements for a unique look.

Living Area

We played around with colors and fabrics, and designed distinctive doors. We could keep everything in one color, but add a couple of chairs in a contrasting color.

Between the majlis and the living room, we put a large wooden door to give the space a powerful look. When the door is open, the two spaces connect seamlessy. We also added some striking artwork to give the space a bold character.

The fabric chairs had beautiful and contrasting colors. The gypsum board and walls were the same color, but we created different levels to give them an interesting look, even though they were simple. We used travertine marble with wood and some organic materials.

Diwania

For the outdoor diwaniya, they wanted something different but still with the same color scheme. We incorporated the colors into the artwork, rugs, and cushions. We used wood and leather in a unique way.

Dining Room

Back Yard

For the outdoor area, we wanted to create a stylish and unconventional table and chairs, not the usual traditional ones. Inside the majlis, we used leather to add a strong look and contrast with the green color.
